Election Day: April 28, 2023

Voting Timeline 

Voting information will be posted to each eligible voter’s Law Society Portal account during the third week of April 2023.

Voting opens on April 19, 2023.  It continues till April 30, 2023.

The last day for voting is April 28, 2023 at 5:00 pm EDT.

The internet voting system and telephone voting system will
shut down at precisely 5:00 pm EDT on April 28, 2023.

It is best to vote as early as you can during this 2 week period to avoid internet or system issues. 

Key dates:

• April 19 to April 28, 2023: Voting occurs
• May 1, 2023: Results announced
• May 25, 2023: Benchers officially “take office” at meeting of Convocation.
